Those little bridal shrug thingies.

Surprisingly, something borderline useful came from facebook ads.

The Gala Expo is held in Moncton on February 21st and it showcases almost all things wedding. My sister and a few friends and I were thinking of going over around then anyways, so it seems like the perfect time! Plus, there's a 1 in 5000 chance of winning a new car.

Maybe my father was right when he said "If you have a year and a half to plan a wedding, it'll take you a year and a half".

Oh yeah, tentative date: June 11, 2011 or June 18, 2011!

Doreen and I are looking at these little jacket thingies to go over sleeveless dresses.

These are just examples, it all depends on the dress, if I even need one. I am loving lace though, I'll tell you that much.

I'm pretty much decided on not a pure white as well - it looks terrible on me and it's one tradition that I'm willing to overlook so I don't look like a giant marshmallow.

Annnd we think we have our song picked out for our first dance, but I'm not sure if you're supposed to keep these things quiet or not so I'll hush for now!

Invitations.

So, I am taking (yet another) break from studying for exams to blog about invitations.
I'm thinking of going with this whole vintage thing. I found so many beautiful invitations that I know the designer(s) I have in mind to ask to design them would be able to come up with something of the same sort of style.
This one reminds me of the style of pottery I found while hunting for sea glass this summer. I love almost everything about this.

This next one is alright. I think the only reason why I even saved the picture is because I like that beige/cream colour. Other than that it's a bit boring.
If this was a different colour, I'd like it a lot. It's a bit too dark for a wedding, I think.

I like the colour of this one, but not so much the brown. I really like the flowers though. I have GOT to learn to love script fonts *shudder*

I promised that I wouldn't update this blog until I finished all my exams. Oops, I couldn't help myself! Leave me suggestions/links, etc.

This is the blog that'll help me put all of my thoughts into one place. I'll post pictures, ideas, anything really.
Here's hoping this'll work!

First up: I want a bird cage veil. They're so classic and trendy all at once.

While we're on the topic of awesome vintage-esque wedding attire, here's a few pretty dresses that made my toes curl. They're all from a website called Unique Vintage, which has TONS of awesome dresses. The best part? These next dresses range from 88 bucks to no more than 200. Holy affordable.
Kind of in love with the armpit fat hideage of this one.
This one just makes me smile. LOVE the plain but cute look.

Another plain but cute.

Look at the cut of this one! Awesome!

This one is ivory, so 2 thumbs up. And it's a nice style.
I'm all over the sheer covering on top of this one.

Insight peeps?
